Technical Writer (Project Manager)

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Writer with a background in software development and project management to create, manage, and maintain technical documentation for our technology-driven projects in compliance with CMMI maturity level 4 requirements. The ideal candidate will possess 6-10 years of experience, hold a degree in technology, and have a strong understanding of hardware and software technology development. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in defense PSUs or similar organizations and knowledge of relevant quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical Documentation:
- Create, edit, and maintain technical documents, including user manuals, project reports, specifications, and operational procedures (e.g., SyRS, SDP, SRS, SDD, IRS, User Manual, HMI Document, Installation Manual, Acceptance Document).
- Develop Software Architecture Documents.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise documentation for various audiences.

2. Project Management:
- Manage documentation projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
- Assign tasks and ownership within the team, utilizing PMP or Agile methodologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather inputs and ensure accuracy.

3. Quality Standards Compliance:
- Ensure all documentation adheres to industry and organizational quality standards.
- Maintain version control and document revision history.

4. Collaboration and Review:
- Work closely with engineers, developers, and project managers to understand project requirements.
- Review and proofread technical content to ensure consistency and clarity.

5. Tools and Technology:
- Use advanced documentation tools and platforms to create and maintain technical content.
- Leverage technology to streamline documentation processes.

Salary Range: Rs 10-12 LPA
Work mode- 5 days working from office only, Day shift – 08.45 am to 6.00 pm
Languages: Fluent in English (Written and spoken) and Hindi (Spoken)
Mandatory Documents: Aadhar Card, PAN, Police verification certificate, educational documents
and Experience Certificates and other relevant documents on selection

Requirements

Qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electronics and Communication, Computer Science, or related field).

  • 6-10 years of experience in technical writing, focusing on hardware and software technology development.

  • Hands-on experience with PMP or Agile project management methodologies.

  • Exposure to defense PSUs or similar industries is highly preferred.

  • Strong understanding of relevant quality standards and best practices.

  • Proficient in technical writing tools such as MS Office, Adobe FrameMaker, or similar platforms.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.


    Preferred attributes:

  • Prior experience working on defense or government projects.

  • Familiarity with hardware and software integration processes.

  • Familiarity with software development processes.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
