Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Hardware Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over 2 years of hands-on experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues for various devices and managing IT assets efficiently. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with both internal teams and external stakeholders, including clients and OEM support teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on laptops, desktops, and smartphones. Perform system upgrades and routine maintenance to ensure optimal device performance.
IT Asset Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets, including tracking and updating asset records. Oversee the allocation, retrieval, and replacement of IT equipment.
Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal teams and external client stakeholders to address IT-related needs and ensure satisfaction. Build strong relationships to streamline support and communication.
Vendor and OEM Coordination: Liaise with OEM support teams to coordinate repairs and replacement of parts. Ensure timely resolution of issues through follow-ups and tracking service requests.
Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed reports on hardware issues, resolutions, and inventory status. Document troubleshooting steps and solutions for recurring problems.

Requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
Educational Qualification:
Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
Certification or course in computer hardware and systems is an added advantage.
Experience:
Minimum 2+ years of experience in hardware/software troubleshooting and IT asset management.
Technical Expertise:
Advanced troubleshooting of hardware (motherboards, RAM, SSDs, etc.) and peripherals (printers, scanners, etc.).
Proficiency in operating systems: Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS.
Knowledge of network hardware (routers, switches, Wi-Fi devices) and basic networking troubleshooting (LAN, WAN, VPN setup, and maintenance).
Experience with imaging and deployment tools (e.g., SCCM, MDT, or equivalent).
Understanding of BIOS/UEFI configuration and firmware updates.
Proficiency in IT inventory and asset management tools/software.
Familiarity with endpoint security tools and antivirus management.
Ability to diagnose and resolve connectivity issues in wired and wireless networks.
Experience with data backup and recovery tools.
Basic knowledge of server hardware and configurations (preferred but not mandatory).
Soft Skills:
Strong communication and client management skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
Organized and detail-oriented approach to tasks.
Additional Requirements:
Flexibility to work in a dynamic environment and handle multiple priorities effectively.
Willingness to travel locally, if required, to support client locations.
