Sales Engineer - Defence & Aerospace Segment (0-2 years)

Roles & Responsibilities:
* Formulate and implement a strategy for enhancing market penetration to increase the business volume from Defence and Aerospace segment.
* Order book pipeline, Strategies for a long-term plan, Annual plan,
*Key account management for increasing the business volume from major Defence and Aerospace Key accounts.
*Prepare & maintain a database list of customers in defense & Aerospace market segments
* Interacting with Defence and Aerospace customers on a regular basis for developmental projects and addressing the customer needs and desires for solutions during the design and engineering stages.
*Liaise with the client for their requirement, analyze his requirement, and develop order strategy Review, discuss, correct and put up competitive technical and commercial quotations
*Ensuring healthy relationships with Services, DRDO labs, Test labs, Space organizations, PSU, and other Government bodies
*Gather intelligence on competitor activity, new projects with various labs, Indigenisation programs.
*Build company profile and brand image in the market through customer visits, presentations, exhibitions, tradeshows, and business meets. Participate in defense & aerospace seminars and exhibitions.
*Acts as a strategic partner for customers to understand customer needs and deliver through Cross-functional teams.
*Interact with the design/technical team on the new technologies/requirement of the customer for technology/process upgradation
*Support the proposal activities for new programs, or new contracts by providing applicable material cost inputs
*Recommend policy initiatives, new product/partnership arrangements & innovative approaches keeping in mind the market opportunities, practices & competition to strengthen the company's leadership position.
Requirements
*Good and Effective communications skills. Languages: English & local language -Kannada
*Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Electronics/Electronics & Communication.
*Experience: 0-2 years in the Defence & Aerospace industry in areas of Sales & Business Development. Preferred Knowledge on Defence Procurement Policies
*Preferred: Worked on medium to large-size opportunities/tenders in the Defence Electronics domain or System Integration projects in Aerospace & Defence. Experience in working with MoD, DRDO labs, DPSUs, Armed Forces International OEMs
